Our instruments are handmade in a small shop in Virginia, with no two the same. When feasible I prefer to work with native lumber, milled in-house, and fit each guitar or bass with hardware and electronics supplied by similarly instrument-enamored boutique manufacturers or scavenged from vintage parts bins. I use nitrocellulose lacquer, natural oil, and milk paint finishes, meant to wear in rather than wear out. Please reach out for a demo or with questions regarding purchase of an instrument.
